Meet the Hosts



JumaaneJumaane N’Namdi  has been involved in the art world for most of his life, first through his father’s Detroit gallery and through the directorship of N’Namdi Contemporary Miami and N’Namdi Contemporary Chicago. Reared in the gallery business and amid an extensive family art collection, he developed an innate appreciation and understanding for the interrelationship of art, artist, and collector. N’Namdi Contemporary, as a home for renowned cutting edge international artists, allows Jumaane to keep a special focus on three concepts: education, culture, and aesthetics.


 LoloLauren “Lolo” Reskin is a Miami native and fixture in the music scene. She is the owner and co-founder of Sweat Records, a beloved institution in its own right. In addition to selling music Lolo has worked as a promoter, booker, and DJ with ceaseless energy and dedication to community-building. She DJs regularly, books shows, serves on the Florida Chapter Board of the Recording Academy, and is an alumnus of Class VII of the Miami Foundation’s Miami Fellows young leaders program.


 ScottP. Scott Cunningham — a poet, translator, and essayist— is a true man of letters. His work has appeared in Harvard Review, Monocle, Columbia: a journal of art + literature, among others. He is the Co-founder and Executive Director of O, Miami, a non-profit organization that celebrates Miami through the lens of poetry. He is also the Founder and Executive Editor of Jai-Alai Books, a regional publishing imprint. He has been named one of "20 Under 40 Emerging South Florida Leaders" by The Miami Herald and one of 51 “brilliant urbanites who are helping to build the cities of America's future" by Fast Company magazine.
